Temporarily suspending the acceptance of shipments to the US . Update

lz1aq — Thu, 04 Dec 2025 12:18:42 +0000

Shipping to US still stopped
If You have ordered AAA-1 kit:
We hope that you have read at our site the problem with US customers. For now we still cannot ship the parcel immediately because of US customs problems. This is not our fault and concerns all EU countries. Please read https://active-antenna.eu/temporarily-suspending-acceptance-shipments-us/. You must wait until BG post resumes shipping to US. We will send it immediately. Sorry for the inconvenience. We hope that this problem will be solved soon.
P.S. We have several ordered kits from US which are waiting ….. The problem is from August and still is not resolved ?! You can cancel the order but the refund will be several euros less since Paypal has fees and they are not canceled even we make a refund. Any other way of shipping is quite expensive. DHL is accepting parcels for US. Some US customers send a DHL waybill but we do not know the price they paid. From here the approximate price for DHL delivery is in order of 70 euro. For those US customers who intend to purchase the AAA-1 kit the advice is to wait until this problem is solved. We have in stock a solid quantity.
For those from US who want to use DHL please send to us an order to info @ active-antenna.eu and we will send a paypal invoice.

The reason for this is the planned changes by the US Administration related to Customs Clearance of shipments containing goods entering the country.
Bulgarian Posts will inform its customers if there are any changes in the situation.”

To our customers from US. If you have already payed a kit you must wait until BG post resumes shipping to US. We will send it immediately.

Clones of LZ1AQ Active Loop Amplifier on the Market

lz1aq — Wed, 13 Jul 2022 17:54:00 +0000

Recently on the market appeared some commercial products claimed that they are LZ1AQ design. We do not have any connections with these products and do not guarantee that these products have the same performance as our original AAA-1 product.

We have published in our earlier publication the schematics and design considerations of an active loop antenna amplifier in order to help radio amateurs to build their own. Probably all these above mentioned products are copy and paste designs from our article. Our present commercial product is an enhanced and improved version with different active elements (low noise VHF transistors), improved filters and improved common mode rejection by using opto-couplers insulation in control schematics. The amplifier input is protected from strong electromagnetic fields such as nearby legal limit amplifiers and nearby lightning strikes.

AAA-1 kit has additional second High Z input amplifier for electric field antennas as short verticals and dipoles. Both amplifiers have a protection against strong electromagnetic fields, protection limiters for the receiver inputs. The user can switch between several modes: two separate loops in different modes and directions or short vertical. Every amplifier is tested in laboratory for frequency response, noise and IMD products and we guarantee that each amplifier is within specifications limits published in our documentation.

List of Clients Waiting for Delivery

lz1aq — Mon, 09 May 2022 15:26:04 +0000

This is a list of clients who have ordered the kit but waiting for delivery via Bulgarian Post.
Read the previous posts about the circumstances. Your tracking codes are pasted on the parcels and are waiting for delivery. Some clients do not want to wait and suggest to use a courier service for which they will pay. Here the prices for these services are very high. For example the cost to USA delivery within 5 days is 322 USD with UPS and 65 euro with DHL. We do not have any discounts from these firms since we do not use them regularly. We strongly recommend to be patient, earlier or later our Post will resume delivery and your parcels will be dispatched immediately. For those who do not want to wait we can make a refund of their payments, just send us an email at info_ at _signacor _ com . For any comments and suggestions please send us an email.

We have temporally stopped orders of AAA-1 kits

lz1aq — Mon, 02 May 2022 09:30:50 +0000

We must inform you that we have temporally stopped orders of AAA-1 kits. The Bulgarian Post stops delivery from 19th of April due to a heavy cyber-attack which damaged their servers. Read https://www.bgpost.bg/en/news/3375 and also https://newsbeezer.com/bulgariaeng/the-cyber-attack-on-bulgarian-posts-is-of-russian-origin/ . All the orders made after 10th of April will have to wait until our Post resumes its operation. The very moment the delivery is opened we will send these orders and will open the shopping cart for new orders. We do not have information when this “force majeure” problem will be solved. We hope that our customers will understand the situation and will be patient .
